Ads, Sponsors & lamemakes

lamemakes was started because I was interested in sharing some of the stuff I was making in quiet and hopefully have the opportunity to collaborate with others, while inspiring a similar creativity that others have inspired in me - not profit.

In the spirit of keeping this brief, lamemakes will never do a sponsorship that doesn't align with a project/overarching mission nor will I accept any sponsorship that doesn't let me speak honestly on the product/service. All of this is done for a love of creation and never with a profit motive as the priority.

This comes about as PCBWay had recently approached me and graciously offered to sponsor the manufacturing of the PILOT Drive HAT prototypes. This was something I had never considered before but I figured it was time to set a Ulysses pact for the work here. My PCBWay experience was wonderful and you can see it detailed in the PILOT Drive HAT update. In general, ads are shoved down all of our throats too much, but I can promise you'll never see me plugging a HelloFresh/Honey/BetterHelp vibe here. Cheers!
